There’s a reason we check every single demo that comes in—because of tracks like “Boom Beat Heart Box” from Kidd Mike. Hailing from London via South Africa, Kidd Mike has relatively few releases but one thing we love is when we get a record this good from an artist we’ve never heard of.

If you’ve seen Claude on his open-to-close Dad tour, you’ve likely heard this one —a hypnotic vocal and rolling bass with loads to offer in the bottom end and synths sprayed across for good measure.

We’re looking forward to hearing more from Kidd Mike in the future.
